Hi, I’m Cindy.

I am an impatient perfectionist who can’t stand to leave things unfinished. I’m a wife, mom, blogger, housewife but not much of a housekeeper, coffee enthusiast and enjoyer of food.

Writing goes better with a cup of coffee and silence. With 4 kids, a bossy cat, 7 bored hens, and 2 nosy dogs, silence is rare. But I keep drinking coffee and hoping.

A verity is a truth. Something of weight.

A vanity is something empty.

Life has plenty of both; may I fall more on the side of truth in my life, not just my writing.

I usually start every post with the intention of being lighthearted and fun, but I usually get into deeper stuff pretty quickly. This should have been called Volumes of Verities, because apparently I’m deeper than I thought.

I’m eternally grateful for Jesus and his practical, personal love. I am realizing this isn’t about me, it’s about Him.
